Can you believe I was never introduced to the Little House books until I was an adult? It’s never too late, though! We read them as a family and it’s a marvelous experience! Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder is especially wonderful as a way to discuss the importance of work and obedience in a family. I refer to the stories often as I help my children gain self-discipline. These are definitely character-building books!!
